About Us

Pink Pirates started with a life at sea that changed everything for me. Sailing opened doors I never could have imagined, took me to places I had only dreamed of, and taught me just how much can change when someone believes in you enough to give you a chance. It gave me a different perspective on the world, a deeper connection to the ocean, and a life I never want to take for granted.

I created the Pink Pirates Project because I want other women to experience that same feeling of possibility. I believe adventure, opportunity, and the chance to discover what you’re capable of shouldn’t be limited to the people who already have the means or connections to make it happen. Through life-changing voyages, ocean conservation, and sharing the stories of the women we meet along the way, we’re creating space for more women to find their confidence, challenge themselves, and experience a world beyond what they thought was possible.

At its heart, Pink Pirates is about more than sailing. It’s about opening doors, looking out for our oceans, and remembering what can happen when someone is given a chance. Because sometimes, one opportunity is all it takes to change the direction of someone’s life. And when you’ve been lucky enough to have that opportunity yourself, there’s something pretty special about being able to pass it on.

Sometimes all someone needs is a chance.

Our Mission

Pink Pirates creates affordable, accessible opportunities for women to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, learn practical skills, and experience adventure through sailing, travel, mentorship, volunteer service, and hands-on learning.

Our crews include young women from all walks of life. This isn't a luxury charter, this is an authentic experience of "boat life." We also do what we can to give back through volunteer work and hands-on environmental stewardship.

Our Vision

We see a future where more women feel at home on the water: confident at the helm, capable when things go sideways, and connected enough to the ocean to protect it.

Our first big voyage leaves Florida's Gulf Coast and sails through the Bahamas and down the Caribbean island chain toward Panama, with women joining as crew along the way. We document every leg and share it, so the next woman can see herself out here and the places we visit get the attention and care they deserve.
